Kanye West splits with Jay Z’s Tidal over money dispute

According to TMZ, Kanye West has left Jay Z's Tidal company over money dispute and Tidal has threatened to sue him. Read the full report from TMZ below...

Sources connected to Tidal tell TMZ, Kanye has been unhappy with the company for a long time. We're told Kanye has complained the company owes him money -- more than $3 million. Our sources say a month ago Kanye's lawyer sent a letter to Tidal, saying the company was in breach and the contract was terminated. 

Over the next 2 weeks lawyers for both sides tried to resolve the conflict but failed.

We're told 2 weeks ago Kanye's lawyer fired off a second letter declaring again the contract was over. Kanye's decision to split from Tidal predates the release of Jay Z's album in which he trashes Kanye, and we're told Kanye had no advance knowledge of Jay's lyrics.

We're told Kanye's beef with Tidal is twofold -- his Saint Pablo album resulted in 1 1/2 million new subscribers to Tidal, for which he was supposed to get a bonus but the company hasn't paid.

Kanye also says Tidal reneged on reimbursing him for music videos. Our sources say Tidal's position is that Kanye didn't deliver the videos required by the contract.

Kanye's response ... I'll deliver the videos when you pay me what I'm owed. We're told Tidal fired off a letter to Kanye, saying as far as the company was concerned it still had an exclusive contract with the rapper and if he tried to go to another streaming service they'd sue him.

We're told Kanye's willing to walk away, but if Tidal sues him, he'll sue them right back.

'I think we started off as friends for so many years. We were friends when we were in other relationships and we were such a good support system for each other for so long, and I think that really helped to be the basis of our relationship.'

She continued, 'We're just such good friends. My friends and my sisters are all like 'You guys can sit and talk in a room' and I know when we're 80 and can hardly move we're just going to be talking and talking.'

Kim Kardashian joins husband Kanye West in the Bahamas for his lavish 40th birthday party

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have reportedly flown to the Bahamas with their kids ahead of the rapper's 40th birthday which is on Thursday. Rumour has it that the birthday celebration will be held over the weekend in a huge luxury villa which they rented out.

His wife, children, and some close friends are expected to be present. A source close to the West family told E! that the family will be celebrating in a big way and have already shipped in cases of tequila for the party.

"They rented out a huge luxurious amazing villa," the source said. "They have had cases of Casamigos flown in and are drinking by their private pool. The kids all have their own play area and they all look like they are having a great time."

The source continued:

"Kanye wanted to plan this vacation for their family as it's been awhile since they have taken a vacation together as a whole. Kim really needed time to relax and wants to spend quality time with Kanye and he is going out of his way to make it special."

The power couple celebrated their third wedding anniversary just last month and gushed about each other being the best spouse on social media, effectively quelling rumours that they were having issues in their marriage and on a trial separation. A source revealed that the couple have had issues in their marriage but worked on it.

A source said recently:

 "Kanye and Kim are on a good path. They have been really working on their marriage and their overall daily lifestyle with incorporating each other in it during crazy and busy times. Their kids have been the stick that has kept them together in hard times. Kanye and Kim both been through a lot but they have both got help and counselling on their own and with each other."

 Kanye West has shied away from the spotlight in recent weeks, even failing to attend the Met Gala in New York on May 1 with wife Kim Kardashian .

But yesterday he was spotted by fans dining solo at posh eatery Nobu in Miami.

According to Daily Mirror,Kanye was happy to pose for a photo with a fan Patrick Grimaldi, who uploaded the snap to his instagram page with the caption: “I MET KANYE WEST IM NEVER GOING TO FAIL.”

Kanye West is making a new album, and he's holed up in a Wyoming retreat at the top of a mountain to find his inspiration.

We know exactly where he is but hey, we don't want to ruin his mojo ... we like his music, too. But we can tell you he's been there a week and also went 2 weeks earlier, so he's smack in the middle of the creative process.

This explains Kanye's absence from some high-profile Kardashian events, including the Met Gala last week, where Kim went solo.  

The last time we saw him on camera was during a Valentine's dinner date with Kim. He didn't even hit the stage at his own Yeezy fashion show. And, obviously, he hasn't performed since his hospitalization in November.

Yeezy's definitely trying to disconnect ... he's scrubbed his Instagram and Twitter profiles.

Multiple sources tell us this has nothing to do with problems at home or problems with his head ... it's all about creating music.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West reportedly at war over having a third child via a surrogate

Kim Kardashian has been desperately trying to have a third baby, even to the extent of defying doctor's advice that her body can no longer carry another child. The mother-of-two decided to undergo surgery to mend the holes in her urethra so as to enable her carry another child but it was unsuccessful. Now she plans to use a surrogate, but that's allegedly causing a disagreement between her and Kanye.

According to RadarOnline, Kanye and Kim can’t seem to agree on any of the details of their baby deal. They had hoped baby number 3 would gosssave their marriage but this recent disagreement is doing the opposite by causing a strain in their relationship.

“Kim is pressing the issue more than ever now and thinks that another kid will save their marriage, but she and Kanye can’t agree on anything involved in this process," A Kardashian family insider, allegedly told RadarOnline.

"They are really trying to figure out what type of contract their choice for surrogate will sign, but Kim has made it clear that she will pretty much pay anything for another baby. In addition to offering their surrogate a six-figure deal, they will also make sure she has full security and benefits and that she is spoiled and pampered the entire time!"

Kim was diagnosed with placenta accreta during the births of her daughter and son and this condition left behind perforations in her urethra, thereby making another pregnancy difficult, if not impossible. She underwent a very painful surgery recently to repair the holes but she experienced intense bladder complications that made it impossible for her to pee on her own so she had to walk about with a urine drainage bag. She was even seen wearing it in a recent episode of KUWTK

"What are you doing?" Kardashian's best friend, Jonathan Cheban, had asked when he saw the bag. "Why do you have a tail sticking out of your vagina?"

To which Kim replied: "It's a legitimate pee bag."

The 36-year-old also groaned about the pain she was experiencing and how it had changed her body.

“My stomach looks like I am five months pregnant. It is so painful," she complained.

"You're going through an awful lot of trauma to your body and emotional stress and I'm just not sure if it's worth it," her mother, Kris Jenner, advised.

Following her mother's advice, Kim has now made up her mind to use a surrogate, but whether she and Kanye will finally arrive at an agreement is left to be seen.
