Judge grants Karrueche Tran 5-year restraining order against her ex boyfriend, Chris Brown

Few months ago, it was revealed that Karrueche Tran filed a restraining order against her ex boyfriend, Chris Brown, after she claimed he threatened to kill her. The judge has now granted her request, ordering that the restraining order is to stay in place for the next 5 years. According to TMZ;

"Chris Brown threatened violence against his ex-GF after they broke up, demanding she give back money and gifts he had given her during their relationship ... this according to Karrueche Tran's in-person testimony in court.

"Karrueche took the stand Thursday in her restraining order case against Chris, telling a judge after she broke up with the singer ... he demanded diamond rings he bought for her to be returned. When she refused ... Karrueche says Chris became aggressive.

"Karrueche explained that in text messages between herself and Chris post-breakup, he would say things like "I'm not being nice to you no more, if I see you out in public again and I'm there I will make you hate me even more, don't be anywhere I'm out in public, I'm going to ban you from all events."

She claims he also texted her more violent threats like ... "I can get my money back and I'm tired of playing games" as well as "Bitch I will beat the s**t out of you" and "I promise you I will make your life hell."

She says he also once wrote "Imma kill blood" under a photo of her and actor Michael B. Jordan. She also testified that Chris had beaten her before.

"Chris Brown's attorney, David Gammill, grilled Karrueche on cross-examination, and pressed her on allegedly taunting Chris about the rings by saying she had sold them. Karrueche told Geragos she never planned to return the rings because they were hers.

Geragos also brought up the point of Karrueche never reporting any of the alleged behavior to authorities. "Karrueche insists she fears for her safety and needs permanent protection. Chris wasn't in court today and the judge refused to let him join the hearing via phone."

Over the past several weeks, there have been relentless rumours that she's in the early stages of a blossoming romance with Migos rapper Quavos.

American rapper, Quavo from Migos, is currently dating Karrueche Tran, a move according to a TMZ report, initially made the latter's ex boyfriend, Chris Brown, very angry. Karrueche Tran Ready For Courtroom Face-off with Chris Brown Over Death Threats

Karrueche Tran will do what Rihanna would not -- testify that Chris Brown brutalized her ... and she's not scared at all.

We're told Karrueche has no fear about testifying that Chris allegedly kicked her down a flight of stairs, punched her in the stomach, threatened to shoot her and made other death threats ... this according to multiple sources connected to Chris' ex.

The actress has been dogging Chris for more than 2 months trying to serve him, but he successfully dodged the process server ... until Thursday night when he was hit with legal docs after his BD party.

Our sources say one of Karrueche's motivations is to inspire other women similarly situated to come forward and confront people who brutalize them.  

We're told this has been a long process for Karrueche ... the alleged abuse started a long time ago but she built up her confidence to finally put an end to it, especially after the alleged recent death threats.

You'll recall, Rihanna almost immediately had a change of heart after Chris brutally beat her and did not want to cooperate with authorities. Chris copped a plea and she was never called to testify.

We reached out to Karrueche and her camp and they refused comment.

Chris Brown’s lawyer slams Karrueche says she is using him to stay famous

Chris Brown is the victim of a bunch of thirsty people who make fake allegations to make themselves more famous, and Karrueche Tran is on that train ... so claims Brown's lawyer.

Karrueche's restraining order hearing was put off again Wednesday because she still hasn't been able to locate Brown to serve him with legal docs. Tran claims Chris has punched her, pushed her down the stairs and threatened to shoot her.

Brown's lawyer, Mark Geragos, tells TMZ her claims are bogus, adding,

 "A lot of people use Chris to enhance their profile." Geragos says Karrueche's restraining order case is "doomed to failure." As for why Geragos hasn't simply accepted service on behalf of Chris, he says, "I'm not here to help anybody increase their profile for self-promotion." 

Meanwhile,Kae manager Jacob York calls Geragos' claims laughable ... telling us it's insane to think Karreuche would take legal measures against Chris just for press. York adds,

 "please don't use Karreuche's name to distract from your client's current negative issues ... let's handle it in court.

Chris Brown says Quavo from Migos betrayed him by dating Karrueche Tran

Chris Brown feels betrayed by Quavo from Migos, a person he regarded as a friend until he started dating his ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran.

According to TMZ, Chris Brown who had both a personal and business relationship with Quavo, believes Karreuche got a restraining order on him at the time she started hooking up with Quavo, adding that Quavo and Karreuche planned it all so as the get him completely out of the way. Chris Brown is angry, feeling like he was stabbed in the back by Quavo from Migos... a man he thought was a good friend until he started dating Karrueche Tran.
Our CB sources say ... Chris had both a business and personal relationship with Quavo ... inviting him to his home, collaborating on songs before Migos hit big, and supporting the group by attending multiple promotional parties.
Chris is livid that he actually helped promote Migos' recent hit album, "Culture," at the same time Quavo was secretly seeing his ex-girlfriend.
Chris believes it's no coincidence Karrueche got a restraining order against him at the very time she started getting tight with the Migos rapper. He believes this was orchestrated by both Karrueche and Quavo to clear the decks so they could date, without caring they would make him look like a chump.
Before Chris found out the 2 were dating, he did an interview with Billboard and called Migos "my real friends and brothers" and said, "I will never hate on you ni**as." 
Well, now he does.

Karrueche Tran To Face Chris Brown In Court To Get Permanent Restraining Order

According to TMZ, Karrueche Tran is set for a courtroom showdown with her ex Chris Brown on Thursday.

The budding actress, 28, is said to have filed for a permanent restraining order against the singer as she fears for her life,

TMZ, also claim that Karrueche has tried three times to serve Chris a temporary restraining order, which was granted last month, but on all three occasions he has avoided receipt.

Neither Tran Nor Brown, has commented on this new development.

In the filing, Tran claimed Brown beat her during their relationship, which ended after it emerged in March 2015 he had had a daughter with aspiring model Nia Guzman.

In a sworn statement, Trans also said he  'told a few people that he was going to kill me'.

Chris Brown has been ordered to stay clear of ex-GF Karrueche Tran, after she filed legal docs saying he vowed to kill her and he's beaten her up before ... TMZ has learned.

Karrueche claims in a sworn statement to the judge, earlier this month Chris "told a few people that he was going to kill me." She then says Chris told the friends if he can't have her then no one else can, threatening he was going to "take me out" and "threatened to shoot me."

Karrueche also says several years ago Chris "punched me in my stomach twice," and "pushed me down the stairs." This would have been during the time Chris was on probation for the Rihanna beating.

The legal docs also claim Chris has threatened to harm her friends and even recently threw a drink at one of them.

She worries he's now putting action behind his words, and that's why she got the restraining order.

A few weeks ago Chris posted this video, which tracks with Karrueche's claim Chris was telling friends if he couldn't have her no one could.

The domestic violence restraining order requires Chris to stay 100 yards away from Karrueche, her mom and her brother. We reached out multiple times to Chris' rep ... so far no word back.
