Breaking: North Korea test fires new medium range ballistic missiles, threatens the U.S!

North Korea on Sunday morning launched a new medium range ballistic missile into the Sea of Japan amid U.S president Donald Trump's first international trip to Saudi Arabia.

The missile, is their second missile test in the space of seven days after launching their most successful missile test last week.

The missile flew about 500km and it is believed to have landed in waters off South Korea's east coast, South Korea's military said. New South Korean President Moon Jae-in, reacting to the missile launch, held a National Security Council meeting- this is the second launch test North Korea has had in Moon's short time as president, while the White House said the missile had "a shorter range than the missiles launched in North Korea's three most recent tests".

In a statement, South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff said they were at "full military readiness" and were "closely monitoring signs for additional provocation by the North Korean military". On Sunday, North Korean state newspaper Minju Joson threatened more missile launches against the United States.

Minju Joson said: "If the US persists in confrontation with the DPRK (North Korea), the latter will show how the crime-woven history of the US is put to an end. "Many more weapons capable of striking the US will be launched from this land. This is the DPRK's answer to the Trump administration."

Kim Jong Un calls America a ’den of evils’ as he ramps up rhetoric

The frosty relationship between America and North Korea is unlikely to thaw anytime soon and the regime's leader, Kim Jong Un has some very strong words for the world's super power. An article in the state-run Rodong Sinmun newspaper titled 'Don't Dream Silly Dream', threatened the US by saying 'its desperate intelligence operation against DPRK will only bring destruction to it'. 

It went ahead to say the 'maximum pressure and engagement' employed by President Donald Trump was 'just a policy of state-sponsored terrorism'.

It accused the US of 'unhesitatingly resorting to hideous provocation' and 'foolhardy operations'. Continuing its hardline stance, it said:

'The foolhardy operations against the supreme leadership of the DPRK and its strategic facilities only bring to light, the wretched plight of the U.S. which has sustained disgraceful defeats only in the showdown with the DPRK. Only last week, the secretive Asian nation through its vice foreign minister, Hang Song-ryol accused the US of 'state sponsored terrorism' in an attempt to assassinate Kim Jong-un using a biochemical substance. As American troops continue joint military exercises with South Korea, the North has vowed to develop a missile mounted with a nuclear warhead that can strike the mainland United States, saying the programme is necessary to counter U.S. aggression'

North Korea is accusing US and South Korea of attempting to assassinate Kim Jong Un with a "bio-chemical substance"

North Korea has just accused the United States and South Korea of attempting to assassinate leader Kim Jong Un with a "bio-chemical substance." In a report released today which offered no evidence, North Korean state news agency KCNA said a "hideous terrorist group" conspired with the CIA and South Korea's Intelligence Service (IS) to mount the attack.
The report said the aim of the attack was to "commit bomb terrorism targeting the supreme leadership" during major events including a recent military parade.

The report also claimed a North Korean citizen was involved in the plot, using "biochemical substances including radioactive substance and nano poisonous substance" to target Kim.

North Korea ballistic missile launch fails again

North Korea launched a ballistic missile today Saturday (in their local time) but the missile exploded soon after launch without completing it, U.S. officials said. The failed test involved a short-range, non-nuclear missile, which would only be able to hit Seoul, but not Japan. A US official said they had warning of the test and watched it closely. 

A South Korean military official said that the test occurred around 5:30 a.m. local time. The official said:

"Currently, we are closely monitoring North Korea's further military provocation and are totally ready to meet any and all kinds of provocation," the official told NBC.

U.S. Pacific Command said the missile did not leave North Korean territory, adding that the North American Aerospace Defense Command determined the launch did not pose a threat to North America.

The White House said that the administration is aware of the test and that President Donald Trump has been briefed. Earlier in April, North Korea conducted a missile test a day after the country held a military parade celebrating leader Kim Jong-un's grandfather, Kim Il-sung.

In that failed test launch, U.S. Pacific Command said the missile "blew up almost immediately."

In what has been described as preparation for war, North Korean leader, Kim Jong-Un's army fired rockets and torpedoes at mock enemy warships during North Korea's largest live-fire artillery drills on Tuesday.  

In a show of military strength to celebrate 85 years since the North Korean army was created, hundreds of tanks were lined up along the town of Wonsan.

Jong-Un saluted the military as he watched the exercises, which involved the firing of more than 300 large-calibre artillery pieces and included submarine torpedo-attacks.

North Korea threatens Australia with nuclear strike

North Korea has threatened to hit Australia with a nuclear strike if it continues to follow the United States. The stern warning comes after Foreign Minister Julie Bishop said on Thursday that North Korea would be hit with further Australian sanctions as a clear message that its behaviour will not be tolerated. 

Ms Bishop also called on China to do more to pressure North Korea into getting rid of its hostile and aggressive ways and dumping its nuclear warheads and ballistic missile program.

However, in response to the comments, North Korea’s state-run KCNA news agency on Saturday quoted a foreign ministry spokesman accusing Ms Bishop of “spouting a string of rubbish” against the nation.

The spokesman accused the Australian Government of “blindly and zealously toeing the U.S. line” and warned of a possible nuclear strike if it continues.

“If Australia persists in following the US moves to isolate and stifle North Korea … this will be a suicidal act of coming within the range of the nuclear strike of the strategic force of North Korea,” the spokesman said.

The spokesman also warned Ms Bishop to “think twice” about the consequences of her “reckless tongue-lashing flattering the U.S.”. Adding:

“What she uttered can never be pardoned,” the spokesman said. “It is hard to expect good words from the foreign minister of such government. But if she is the foreign minister of a country, she should speak with elementary common sense about the essence of the situation. 

“It is entirely attributable to the nuclear threat escalated by the US and its anachronistic policy hostile to North Korea that the situation on the Korean Peninsula is inching close to the brink of war in an evil cycle of increasing tensions.”

News: North Korea attempts to launch missile but fails

 North Korea tried to fire a missile it introduced few hours ago at a military parade - but the launch was an embarrassing failure after the weapon failed and blew up almost immediately. The missile which is supposed to be one of the country's new 'game-changer' intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBM) which was revealed to the world in a display of military might during the country's parade and celebration of the country's creation yesterday.

The South Korean defence ministry said it had detected a failed launch from Sinpo - where North Korea's biggest submarine base is located.

According to a military official the weapon is 'presumed to be a new ICBM' as it is longer than the existing KN-08 or KN-14 missiles.

North Korea launched this missile for the first time earlier this month, firing it from a land base near Sinpo, home to a known North Korean submarine base. The missile did not appear to go very far, but still, analysts described the development as “scary” because of the solid-fuel component.

The information of the failed missile launch didn't come from North Korean Govt, it came from  the South Korean defence ministry which released a statement.

The statement read:

'North Korea attempted to test an unidentified type of missile from Sinpo area in the South Hamkyong Province this morning, but we suspect the launch has failed.'

North Korea has launched 5 missile launches that are mobile ICBMs that can reach as far as the United States and yesterday's failed launch would have been the 6th one.

North Korea flashes its military muscle in parade as soldiers chant towards Kim jong-un "we will die for you"

The North Korean government on Saturday showed the world how big its military has become as they carried out drills with thousands of soldiers marching in formation alongside tanks, balloons and enormous crowds to celebrate the country's 'day of the sun' holiday, a day set aside to mark the 1912 birth of Kim Il Sung, grandfather of Kim Jong Un and founder of North Korea.

Kim Il Sung died in 1994 after leading his country from its establishment in 1948 until his death.  He passed the leadership to his son, Kim Jong II who in turn passed it to Kim Jong Un, the current 'supreme leader' of North Korea.

Leader Kim Jong-Un, dressed in a black suit, watched the military parade pour into Kim Il-Sung Square, Pyongyang, accompanied by top military and party leaders, state television showed in a live broadcast.

According to North Korean run media, and multiple foreign media houses invited to the parade, the soldiers in their thousands could be heard chanting towards Kim Jong un 'we will die for you' as they paraded their weapons of warfare.

"We are ready for all our war, we will hit with nuclear attacks of our own"- North Korea tells U.S

The North Korean government, led by supreme leader Kim Jong-un, after its military parade on Saturday to celebrate the birth of its founder and Kim Jong-Un's grandfather, has warned the U.S and all its neighbors (Japan, South Korea and even China) that the secretive state is ready to attack anyone who provokes them.

The U.S has deployed its navy strike team 'US Carl Vinson' and the 'armada' to the Korean Peninsula and is ready to attack North Korea if they carry out any further nuclear tests , but North Korea seem undeterred and following the massive weapons on display during the parade on Saturday, a war between both or more nations is imminent.

We're prepared to respond to an all-out war with an all-out war and we are ready to hit back with nuclear attacks of our own style against any nuclear attacks," Mr Choe Ryong-Hae, North Korea's number two man said in a speech broadcasted by the state run KCNA.
"Today's parade will provide a chance to display our powerful military might," a male voiceover added on the TV broadcast.

'Such reckless acts of aggression" would be countered with "whatever methods the US wants to take." The voiceover concluded.
The ceremony held on Saturday in Pyongyang is to celebrate the birth of Kim Il-Sung (Kim Jong-un's grandfather) - a date known as the "Day of the Sun" in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, the country's official name.

North Korea ready to defy Donald Trump, as satellite images show Kim Jong-Un preparing for 6th nuclear test

According to new satellite images, Kim Jong-Un's North Korean government is preparing to carry out it's 6th nuclear missile tests, as an apparent show of defiance towards U.S president Donald Trump, after the U.S on Monday ordered it's Navy strike force to sail towards the Korean peninsula to act on North Korea if necessary after gaining support from China 

The US-based monitoring group 38 North on Thursday morning said that the satellite images from the North’s Punggye-ri site showed it was “primed and ready” for the country’s sixth nuclear test since 2006.

“Commercial satellite imagery of North Korea’s Punggye-ri nuclear test site from April 12 shows continued activity around the North Portal, new activity in the main administrative area, and a few personnel around the site’s Command Center,” 38 North said on its website.

“In the courtyards of the main administrative area are approximately 11 probable tarp-covered pallets of equipment or supplies, a formation of personnel, and several individuals walking about,” the site added.

But South Korean military officials believe their neighbors are nor preparing any  nuclear test just yet.

“There has been no unusual activity so far,” Roh Jae-chun, a spokesman for the country’s Joint Chiefs of Staff, told reporters, according to Yonhap news agency.

North Korea on Saturday will mark the 105th birth anniversary of its founder, Kim Il-sung, and many international observers believe they will use the day to carry out a nuclear missile test.

On Thursday, Australia’s defence industry minister, Christopher Pyne, said North Korea was creating a nuclear missile capable of reaching Australia and the United States “within two years”.

The United States Navy strike force- the USS Carl Vinson is currently monitoring the Korean peninsula and will conduct drills with Japanese self-defence force vessels.

“We are sending an armada. Very powerful,” Trump said on Wednesday. 

“We have submarines. Very powerful. Far more powerful than the aircraft carrier.”
