28yr old Indonesian man and his 82yr old wife have the most unusual hookup story

Sofian Loho Dandel, a 28yr old mechanic from Indonesia found love over a phone call. What's more, the caller had dialled him by accident. He ended up speaking to the voice on the other end for almost an hour, he fell in love and decided to track down the face behind the voice. What he did not know was that the voice belonged to Martha Potu, an 82yr old widow.

He was a bit taken aback when she greeted him at her front door. While Dandel was shocked at Potu's appearance because she hadn't disclosed her age over the phone, he had already expressed his love to her and his feelings remained unchanged.

 The two chatted for hours and Dandel learned that Potu had been living a lonely life after her husband died ten years ago and her two children left the country to work abroad. Dandel was touched by her story and promised her forever, on February 18 this year, the happy couple exchanged wedding vows in presence of their family and loved ones in North Sulawesi, Indonesia. The overjoyed groom said:

'It all started after a call came into my cell phone a year ago. I just answered it not knowing who it was. I loved how she introduced herself and how politely she was talking. Then on, we continued chatting over the phone. 

'She was caring and full of energy and with each passing day, I was drawing towards her. I had never dated before and started feeling in love. I could not wait to meet her but I did not know how old she was. But we felt really in love and agreed to continue this relationship.'

Indonesia is a very conservative society and the couple didn't have an easy path to marriage, their families both opposed the union vehemently but had to assent when the lovers displayed determination and loyalty for each other.

 Dandel's mother, Magdalena, 60, said:

'We did not know he had chosen a grandmother! He had kept her age hiding from us until we met her.We were naturally surprised. Very surprised at the time, but what can I say. We see them love each other, so we accepted his choice.'

For Potu, who is basking in the glow of a new bride, her husband is God's gift to her.

'I used to pray God for a companion who can take care of me at this old age and he answered my prayers by sending Sofian as a blessing into my life,' the old bride said.

The unusual couple have become the talk of the town after a guest uploaded their pictures from the wedding on the internet.

“My life is in the hands of this woman, she used juju on me and I cannot resist her. I no longer want her in my life but I would be lying if I say I no longer love her. The reason I have decided to publicize this issue is because I want to expose the juju she uses on me. I am confident that the way I feel towards her in influenced by juju because it has been confirmed by different prophets whom I have gone to consult,” he said.

Anesu went on to reveal that even though they were currently on separation they were always meeting regularly for s*x.

“I am so surprised by my actions because I always find myself going back to her. I am sure she can even confirm what I am saying. I have caught her cheating many times but in all those incidences, I am the one who ends up asking her forgiveness. We still had s*x even though we were no longer together. Anesu continued:

Married couples in Italy might not have to pledge to be faithful...if a new bill is approved

 

If a bill which was presented to the Italian Senate last year is approved, married couples in the country will no longer have to promise to be faithful to each other.

The proposed amendment to Italy's Civil Code would remove the word "fidelity" from Italian marriage contracts.

 According to the senators who have signed the bill, the promise not to cheat is a "cultural legacy from an outdated and obsolete vision of marriage, family, and the rights and duties of spouses"
They cited a previous ruling from Italy's top court, which declared that judges could not legally place the blame for a marriage separation "on the mere failure to observe the duty of fidelity".

Instead, the other party has to prove that their spouse's infidelity led to the irreconcilable breakdown of the marriage.

The bill which has now been passed to its Judiciary Committee, goes on to argue that there is an element of s3xism in the current wording. It was originally included to refer to the woman's s3xual fidelity, in order to determine whether children were "legitimate", they noted. 
"Until not long ago, only the fidelity of the woman was sufficient to guarantee the 'legitimacy' of children,  the bill notes, saying that since the "hateful" legal distinction between "legitimate" and "natural" children was scrapped in a 2012 ruling, there is no longer a need for the clause.

The senators assert that fidelity should not be thought of only in s3xual terms, but also in terms of "trust and respect", and that while it was an "important value", it should not be up to the State to impose it by law.
  
References to fidelity and faithfulness were removed from Italy's civil unions bill which was passed earlier this year - a change which provoked outcry from some of the LGBT community, who saw this as a failure to acknowledge the parity of same-s3x and opposite-s3x romantic relationships.
