Yesterday, British boxer and World heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua paid a visit to Manchester United training facility at Carrington base where he trained with the players.

The 27-year-old who is still enjoying his triumphant win against Ukraine's giant Wladimir Klitschko also took pictures with the squad and was presented his own personalized Manchester United jersey by Jose Mourinho, the coach of Manchester United.

Manchester United survived a huge late scare to edge past Spanish visitors Celta Vigo and set up a Europa League final against Dutch giants Ajax.

Leading 1-0 from the first leg, United took control as Marouane Fellaini headed home Marcus Rashford's cross.

But Celta, needing two goals, levelled on the night through Facundo Roncaglia to set up a tense final few minutes.

United's Eric Bailly and Roncaglia were sent off after a mass brawl as the hosts joined Ajax in the final.

But they could only celebrate after Celta striker John Guidetti scuffed a golden chance to put the visitors through to their first major European final with the final kick of the game.

The aggregate victory took the Red Devils a step closer to their first Europa League triumph and a return to the Champions League.

They will meet Ajax, who beat Lyon in the other semi-final, in Stockholm on 24 May.

Man U's highest goal scorer this season and football's king of egotism, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has sounded a warning note to Manchester United and Jose Mourinho, that he'll only remain with the club beyond this season if they match up with his ambition.

Ibrahimovic, 35, has won all the major titles in club football with previous clubs, Barcelona, PSG, Ajax, Juventus, Inter Milan and Ac Milan and with his contract set to expire this summer, has been loinked with a move to LA Galaxy in the U.S and the Chinese Super League.

He has scored 27 goals in all competitions since arriving on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain last summer and for a player who has once compared himself to a god and even called himself 'not a mere mortal', his warning to Manchester United won't come as a surprise.

Speaking to Man U Tv, Zlatan said:

'I'm 35 and a lot of things have to be settled.

'It's not like I'm 20 and I have another five or 10 years. Probably I have one, two, three years so everything depends on what you want and what the club wants; what the vision of the club is because I said from day one I didn't come here to waste time, I came here to win. If you want to win bigger then you have to create bigger.

'Listen, if I had something to say I would already have said it. We are talking. Whether we were far from each other or close to each other, there is no news. There are still talks and let's see what will happen. I am open. Nothing is done yet.

'I came here without the Champions League. I came here with the team as it was. It was not a team that was favourite to win. I still came. I came to help. I came to do what I am able to do. To make it better. To bring the team to higher views, so let's see what happens.'

United remain fifth following Tuesday night's 1-1 draw with Everton at Old Trafford, with their hopes of finishing in the top-four looking doubtful and Ibrahimovic, who returned to the line-up after a three-match ban and scored their last-gasp equaliser from the penalty spot said the season has been so-so so far.

'We are doing everything to create chances and to take our chances,' he added. 'The table of the competition is not lying.

'The team is what it is and we have done I think a great season and we have won two out of five trophies and have two more to play for.

'If we got those points we would be higher but I think we have done great we have done good for the team that is and then the table is not lying.

'If we would be higher the team would be better, yes, but it is what it is. We have to be realistic. We have been working hard.

'There are still two months to go. A lot of things can happen. Of course we want to get the win.

'The nice thing is that we have not been losing for a lot of games, so it is what it is and if we would have been a team for No 1 spot, we would be No 1 today.'

Wayne Rooney ready to quit Man U for China & become highest earning player in the world wiith £1m p/wk salary

Manchester United and England football team captain, who recently became Manchester United's all time leading goalscorer, is now set to quit Man U and move to China in a £52m move that'll make him the highest earning football player on earth with a whooping salary of £1million per week.

Jose Mourinho, Man U's manager, has left the striker out of the starting line up in a lot of matches the last couple of months, and admitted in a new interview that his captain could leave the club before the Chinese league transfer window closes next week Tuesday as Rooney ponders a £1m per week salary offer.

Asked if Rooney will still be at Man U at the end of next week Mourinho said:
“You have to ask him. I cannot guarantee that I’m here next week, how can I guarantee that a player is here next season? What I can guarantee is that if one day Wayne leaves the club it is not because I want him to leave the club. I would never push a legend of this club to another destiny.
“You have to ask him if he sees himself staying in the club for the rest of his career or sees himself moving. It is not a question for me because I am happy to have him. You have to ask him, not me. I was very open with you in the answer. I don’t want him to leave.”
Rooney has started just one game in the last 8 matches, has 18 months left on his current £250,000-a-week deal but will not be given a new deal by Man U.

Leicester City 0- 3 Man U (End of the road for EPL champions as Jose Mourinho’s men humiliate them)

Is this surely the end of reigning English premier league champions Leicester City?

Claudio Ranieri's team, just a 'stone's throw' away from being at the bottom of the table, were humiliated by Manchester United 0-3, through goals from Henrikh Mhikitaryan, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Juan Mata.

Nigerian stars Ahmed Musa and Wilfred Ndidi started for the home team and Ranieri's men applied pressure from the onset, forcing Man U to play on the defensive for majority of the first half, confusing an U with end to end pressure on and off the ball.

Little did Leicester know there was a surprise in the bag as in the 42nd minute,   Henrikh Mkhitaryan ran through Huth and fired across goal after getting a deflection off goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel.

Two minutes later, Antonio Valencia made a run through the right and gave across which was well dispatched by Ibrahimovic.

Manchester United through Juan Mata in the second half played a one-two with Henrikh Mkhitaryan, before slotting into the net.

Leicester City are now officially in decline, can coach Claudio Ranieri, the greatest coach in the history of the club help them avoid relegation?

Living in a hotel for 5months in Manchester has been a disaster-Jose Mourinho admits

Manchester United coach Jose Mourinho has labeled his stay in the Lowry Hotel in Manchester for the last 5 months 'a disaster', saying he would prefer to be close to his family who already have a settled life in London.

Mourinho admitted that he will like to have a house in Manchester if it'll mean avoiding photographers who normally disturb him for photos but that he wouldn't want to uproot his family from London.

Manchester United fear Jose Mourinho's distance from his family could affect him psychologically but will not pressurize him to leave the Lowry hotel where some members of his staff live and even new signings like Paul Pogba live at the moment.

According to the Daily Mail, Mourinho already has a detailed plan where he plans scheduled visits to see his family in London but surprisingly on Sunday after losing to Chelsea, followed the Man U team straight back to Manchester rather than stay a little with his family like he would have normally done.

Buy a house? I do not know,' he said in a pre Capital One Cup press conference.

'The reality is that my daughter will be 20 next week, my son will be 17 in a couple of months. They are very stable. University in London. Football in London. Friends. In an age where they can't chase me like they did before. For the first time the family lives in a different way. We see how we cope with the situation. But maybe if I can get a good apartment – not these giant houses, I will never buy that – with a good connection from the garage to the apartment, maybe I do it. But I can't cook! 

'For the hotel and the clothes brand that sponsors me, it is amazing because they (the photographers) are there every day. Everybody knows the name of the hotel. Everybody knows the last arrivals of that brand. For me, it's a bit of a disaster because I want sometimes to walk a little bit and I can't. I just want to cross the bridge and go to a restaurant. I can't, so it's really bad. But I have my apps and I can ask for food to also be delivered, which I do sometimes!'

Jose Mourinho accused Chelsea coach Antonio Conte of humiliating Man U

According to a report by Italian TV, Sky Italia, Man U coach Jose Mourinho accused Chelsea coach Antonio Conte of humiliating Man U with his touchline antics following Chelsea's 4-0 win over Man U on Sunday. Conte gestured to the crowd to turn up the noise levels after N'Golo Kante scored Chelsea's fourth goal, knowing fully well it was Jose Mourinho's first match at Stamford Bridge as Man U manager following his sacking last year 

The Portuguese went straight to Conte at the final whistle and spent several seconds talking into his ear.

Neither manager revealed the contents of the conversation but Sky Italia reported Mourinho told Conte in Italian:

 "You don't celebrate like that at 4-0. You can do it at 1-0, otherwise it's humiliating for us."

British papers reported that the ill-feeling spilled into the tunnel where a member of Mourinho's staff refused a handshake from Conte, while others were involved in verbal disputes.

Chelsea's manager denied that he had tried to humiliate United.

"There has always been respect for all, and naturally for Manchester United," said Conte. 

 "Nothing happened. I did something absolutely normal. I didn't do anything to humiliate Mourinho. The players, after a 4-0 win, deserved a great clap. It's very normal. We live with emotions. If you want to cut the emotions, we can stay at home and I will change jobs."

Manchester United football club has signed Wayne Rooney's six year old son Kai Rooney to it's youth development squad.

Wayne Rooney has been taking Kai to training at Carrington alongside fellow footballer Michael Carrick and his son Jacey who is also a member of the development squad.

A source told the Sun UK:

“Wayne and Michael really get into it when they bring their boys down. The kids seem to love it and have been coming down regularly in the week to train with the young development squad. 

“It’s a bit funny because both their dads aren’t playing as much any more but these guys could be the club’s stars of the future
