A police officer who became an overnight online sensation after posing for a topless selfie in her patrol car has reportedly quit the force to stop a probe into her activities.

Officer Nidia Garcia a married mother of two, was suspended pending an investigation into the pictures showing her in her uniform flashing her breasts as she cuddles up to a rifle, Mexican police in Escobedo confirmed.

But before the investigation was completed, Garcia handed in her notice. The local council says that it was on a voluntary basis,reports Daily Mirror .
Police also said that as soon as she resigned, the administrative process against her was stopped.After the photo went viral, Nidia posted a confession on Facebook, admitting to posing for the snap - but denying she uploaded it to social media.

This is the shocking moment a couple were caught having $ex on the platform of a busy tube station in clear view of stunned commuters.
According to Daily Mail,the unbelievable scene was filmed by a local who spotted the amorous pair on a bench at Liceu Metro station in Barcelona, Spain.

The footage was captured in the early hours of Sunday morning and showed the couple half-nak3d on the platform while other passengers waited for a train to arrive.

A friend of the video maker told Catalan daily El Periodico:

 We are fed up with these sorts of situations and that's why we've decided to register a formal protest and go public with it.

Local news also reported that it was unclear whether the pair let their emotions get the better of them after too much drink or whether they were partaking in a dare

A police woman who was suspended after she posed for a topless selfie in her patrol car has been swamped with offers from modelling agencies.
Racy cop Bidia Garcia sent temperatures soaring after images of her showing off her boobs as she cuddles a semi-automatic weapon were leaked online.

Turns out the Mexican officer's police car snap was actually only the latest in a number of sexy pictures that the young woman had taken, and which she says she now regrets.
According to Daily Mirror, in a Facebook confession, Nidia has admitted to posing for the snap - but denied uploading it onto social media.
She said:

 "I apologise to the Proximity Justice Secretariat (local police force) and moreover to the city of Escobedo for this immoral act that I have committed.""Since I would be incapable of uploading a photo like this, I am outraged by the great damage this publication brings to my two daughters, my husband, parents, brothers and entire family.
"I hereby admit my great fault in posing for the picture, and I ask for this topic to be left aside.
"It brought me great moral and psychological pain and I want to apologise to the municipality. We are all humans and make mistakes."

In the wake of the confession however, other pictures of her including topless photos then started to emerge and got similarly widely shared on social media.
