This area is said to have had about 200 people at the scene after the incident occurred
The London Ambulance Service said it was responding to the incident.

No other details were immediately available.

Earlier this month, a van veered into pedestrians on London Bridge, setting off vehicle and knife attacks that killed eight people and wounded.
Three Muslim extremists who carried out the attack were killed by the police.

UK’s Muslim police boss quits over Manchester bombing

The Chief Executive of the UK’s police and crime commissioners, Nazir Afzal, has resigned.

Mr Afzal announced the resignation on his Twitter account, saying he would not be “saying anything publicly”.
But the BBC has claimed his departure is connected to a “row over media coverage of terror attacks”.
On the day of the horrific Manchester Arena explosion which claimed the lives of 22 innocent people, Mr Afzal tweeted:
“Manchester is my home now & my heart breaks for those who lives were taken by deluded narcissistic criminals who will never divide or defeat us.

The following day, Mr Afzal tweeted:
“I prosecuted terrorists of all motivations. They’re not soldiers. They’re sad narcissists- thinking the world owes them. We owe them nothing.”

And posting a photo of Manchester city centre, he added:
“Terrorists want us to change our lives because of them. They lose when we don’t.”

After several leaks, UK stop sharing details of Manchester attack the U.S.

UK authorities aren't happy with the United States and British Prime Minister Theresa May has said she will confront U.S. President Donald Trump over intelligence leaks by American officials when they meet at a NATO Summit in Brussels today.

After an emergency meeting with senior ministers, Theresa May said, 'I will make clear to President Trump that intelligence shared between our security agencies must remain secure".

At the moment,  British police have reportedly stopped sharing information about the Manchester Arena attack with the U.S. after a series of leaks to the media sparked anger among U.K. law enforcement and government officials.

The U.K.'s National Police Chiefs' Council in a statement said, 'we greatly value the important relationships we have with our trusted intelligence, law-enforcement and security partners around the world. When that trust is breached it undermines these relationships and undermines our investigations and the confidence of victims, witnesses and their families."

Stop leaking out our secrets and information, it’s irritating! - U.K warns U.S

Following Monday's deadly bomb attacks during an Ariana Grande concert at Manchester, the United Kingdom, Wednesday warned the United States to stop leaking secrets or investigative information about the Manchester attacks without permission from the U.K Police, calling such leaks 'irritating'.

The United States, Great Britain, Canada, Australia, New Zealand constitute the "Five Eyes" alliance and share sensitive information but the U.K government is incensed that American intelligence officials revealed to CNN that the Monday attack was a suicide bombing and that a male at the scene had been identified as the probable suicide bomber, without confirming or asking permission from the United Kingdom.
"The British police have been very clear that they want to control the flow of information in order to protect operational integrity, the element of surprise," UK Home Secretary Amber Rudd told BBC Radio 4's "Today" program on Wednesday.
"So it is irritating if it gets released from other sources and I have been very clear with our friends that that should not happen again."

"We wouldn't go that far to say if the U.S officials had compromised our ongoing investigation. I can say that they are perfectly clear about the situation and that it shouldn't happen again.
The suspect of the Manchester attack has been revealed as 22-year-old Salman Abedi and for the first time in 10 years, the U.K terror alert has been raised to critical.

Man Utd 4-1 Leicester City: Four first-half goals give Jose Mourinho’s side emphatic win

Chris Smalling's header put United ahead before Juan Mata finished off a slick move with a crisp strike.

Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba - with his first goal for the club - both scored from corners, with Demarai Gray's spectacular long-range strike the only consolation for Leicester.

United's first Premier League win in a month was sealed by half-time, but a third defeat for Leicester already matches their total for the whole of last season.
Wayne Rooney was last on the bench for a Premier League game against Stoke on Boxing Day 2015
"If he has to go on the bench, he goes on the bench. If he has to stay at home, he stays at home."
Mourinho was true to his pre-match words as Rooney was dropped for a Premier League game for the first time since Boxing Day 2015 - and ended up a spectator for what was eventually a transformed first-half performance.

For the first 20 minutes it may have been more of the same from United - ponderous and slow in their approach - but once Smalling headed in Daley Blind's corner the shackles were released.

How much of a difference Rooney's absence made to their play is hard to quantify, but a 4-0 lead at the break was proof enough the change was justified.

Mata, nominally playing in Rooney's place behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic, was bright and lively and took his goal superbly before teeing up Rashford for a tap-in, but it was in midfield the hosts were able to really take a grip of the game as Leicester froze.

Rooney eventually came on with seven minutes left, replacing Rashford on the left wing. Where his future role now lies remains a mystery but Mourinho's decision to leave out his captain could hardly have worked out better.

United's first-half performance was their best of the season so far, and went hand-in-hand with Pogba's finest display since his world-record move to Old Trafford this summer.

Mourinho chose Ander Herrera to partner him instead of Marouane Fellaini or Michael Carrick, and Pogba played noticeably further forward, often interchanging with Mata.

He had already played two searching cross-field passes before a flurry of individual highlights as United scored three goals in five dazzling minutes at the end of the first half.

Pogba delivered a disguised chip over the top to Ibrahimovic, who volleyed over, fired in a dipping 35-yarder that was well saved by Ron-Robert Zieler, and sliced through a pass that freed Antonio Valencia. The Frenchman then played a key part in Mata's second before he headed his first goal for the club.
For £89m he is expected to control games, and he did for a brilliant spell.
Leicester's shock title win last season was built on the back of the attacking brilliance of Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez, coupled with the work ethic of the now departed N'Golo Kante, but also on a solid defence, which conceded just 36 goals in 38 games.

The Foxes won five of six games 1-0 in March and April to move towards the championship as they conceded four goals in seven games.

Yet here they became the first defending Premier League champions to concede four goals in a single half.

What will hurt manager Claudio Ranieri even more is that, apart from Mata's brilliantly constructed and taken second goal, the other three were simple goals from corners which could, and should, have been stopped.

The Foxes collapsed after the opening goal and the message was clear at half-time when star men Vardy and Mahrez were taken off, apparently rested for the Champions League date with Porto in midweek.

Top Military Expert warns that Britain is ’totally ill-equipped’ to deal with Russian nuclear threat and could be ’wiped out’

A top military expert has warned that the UK is ill equipped and not prepared for a nuclear war if Russia decides to engage them, hence the region will be wiped out if Putin decides at any point in time to go on the offensive against them...
Britain and Russia don't have the best of International relationships right now and reports indicate that Russia's military have the capacity and strength to walk over NATO's forces in the event of an agression.

Dr Andrew Foxall, director of Russian studies at influential think-tank The Henry Jackson Society told Daily Star Online: "As things stand, the UK is ill-equipped to deal with Russia.

"There is an urgent need to strengthen not only the UK’s defences, but those of NATO members as a whole.

"The alliance simply isn’t doing enough to build up the range of capabilities necessary to deter an aggressive and resurgent Russia."

Dr Foxall believes that the West's shift to focus on terrorism and conflicts in the Middle East over recent years has meant our traditional military capabilities have suffered.

He added: "For almost two decades, the UK, with its NATO partners, has focused on counterinsurgency warfare.
"The military has been up against lightly armed insurgent forces, rather than conventional state-on-state warfare.

"This very different form of war has introduced logistics systems, training, exercises, equipment, and priorities quite different from those required to respond to a Russian threat."
Russian forays in Georgia, Ukraine and now Syria have proved that they could decide to provocate UK by foraying into British territory too, Dr Foxall says.

"Russia’s Air Force bombers are frequently intercepted by RAF jets in close proximity of UK airspace.
"Russia’s warships often sail near British waters.

"And Russia’s submarines have attempted to record the ‘acoustic signature’ made by the Vanguard submarines that carry Trident nuclear missiles."
"More alarmingly, in 2008, a Russian Tu-160 “Blackjack” bomber carried out a dummy nuclear attack on northern England", he said.

"Flying towards Hull, the bomber came within 20 miles of British airspace before turning away.

"While the chances of war between Russia and the UK seem rather low, it remains a possibility Russia will prepare for it – and Moscow has been doing so for some time."

Shocking footage shows youths hurling racial abuse at a man on a tram in Manchester

Shocking video which emerged on Tuesday morning shows three apparently drunk youths shouting hurling racial abuse and shouting at a man to "Get back to Africa' on a tram in Manchester.

According to Manchester Evening News, the man, who spoke with a foreign accent had asked the young men to stop using bad language as they were frightening other passengers.

The youths responded by hurling abuses at the man, telling his to "get back to Africa," Get off the tram now. Bro, I 'll waste you. I 'll waste anyone and Dont chat sh*t when you are not even from England, you little f***king immigrant"

The man, whose nationality was not mentioned, asked how old the youth is, "18,19? I 've been here longer than you".

The youths at one point flick the drink at the man, splashing him and several passengers. They were later chased off the tram, with passengers yelling at them, "You're a disgrace to England".

A woman who was on the tram, who wished to remain anonymous, said: "When I was there I knew it was going to get serious. This kind of incident is really happening. It needs to be noticed we don’t want these kind of incidents happening. The three men got off the tram at Market Street and it stopped there. The women on the tram started crying. It was really horrible. When I was walking back to my work I was crying all the way. I couldn’t control myself. I was feeling sad, I now feel scared coming to work. They were three boys, they weren’t very old. I am scared of travelling on my own, I feel scared for my children that it is not safe, I will not take them on the tram."

Chief Inspector Gareth Parkin of Greater Manchester Police City said: "This is a disgusting display of abuse which quite frankly has no place in society. All hate incidents are treated with the utmost severity and this behaviour will not be tolerated in Greater Manchester."

David Cameron steps down as Prime Minister following UK vote to leave the European Union (EU)

UK Prime Minister David Cameron resigned today after his devastating defeat in the EU referendum. He had fought strongly for Britain to remain in the EU but lost. He said he will stay in post till about October this year when a new Prime Minister is chosen. He said the country requires fresh leadership.

Cameron's voice broke as he spoke outside Downing Street this morning with his wife Samantha in tears next to him. “We should aim to have a new prime minister in place by the start of the Conservative Party conference in October," he told the media after the country voted to leave the European Union.

The Brexit campaign officially passed the winning post in the EU referendum at around 6am today, triggering a political earthquake and panic in the markets. Nigel Farage earlier declared it to be 'independence day' and a 'victory for real people' as the Leave campaign racked up votes across England and Wales - defying the verdict of London, Scotland and most of the big cities.

The Pound - which soared in value earlier after Nigel Farage admitted he thought Brexit had lost - has nose-dived against US dollar to its lowest level for 31 years. And more than £100billion was wiped off the FTSE 100 within minutes as markets opened on Friday as Britain's decision caused turmoil across global exchanges
