And on Friday night, Serena Williams remained true to form as she strutted her stuff at the Australian Open Players Party at the Club Sofitel Lounge in Melbourne.

Despite being relatively dressed down for the occasion, the 34-year-old athlete exuded poise as she flaunted her midriff, complete with bellybutton piercing, in a black crop top matched with a pair of basic black leggings.

Her naturally curly mane had been blow-dried into tumbling, loose waves, while her make-up was kept feminine with a soft pink lipstick and peach-toned blush.

Serena, who jetted to Australia earlier this month ahead of the Hopman Cup and 2016 Australian Open, recently spoke to Harper's Bazaar about what makes a woman attractive.
