1.0 ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT GRADE II - 1 POST
Reporting to the Regional Manager
1. 1 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Hollder of University Degree in Commerce-Accounting, Advanced Diploma in Accountancy,
BA (Finance/ Accounting).
• Awareness of issues concerning the micro, small and medium enterprises sector.
• Excellent communication end interpersonal skills
• A business-like ottitude.
• Computer knowledge in Micro-Soft application packages (Excel Word Power Point,
Publisher, etc I is necessary.
1.2 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The officer is responsible for monitoring and coordinating the Accounting/ Auditing activities of the Organisation within the Region.
Collects data and prepares budget proposals and reports .
Maintains assets, loan and investment register •
Prepare and interprets trial balances, balances sheets, bank reconciliation and other
financial statements and reports required by law and Management
Prepares payroll •
Administers tax molters and other financial obligations .
Balances and controls general and specific accounts
Checks to verify authenticity or source of payment vouchers for authorized signatories,
stomps, dote and amount, before payment Is effected.
Perform any other adivilies as may be assigned by Superior
1.3 SALARY SCALE:
According to SIDO Salary Scale SDGSS 1/1
2.0 PERSONAL SECRETARIES GRADE II -4 POSTS:
Reporting to Human Resources Officer
2. 1 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Holder of Certificate of Secondary Education (CSEE) with
Diploma In Secretarial course from recognized Institutions.
• Computer knowledge in Micro-Soft application packages (Excel Word Power Point,
Publisher, etc I is necessary.
2.2 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBIUTIES
• Maintains o diary of appointments for executive advises ond reminds him of appointments
• Takes dictation and transcribes.
• Type all kinds of correspondence, minutes, reports etc.
• Handle confidential files
• Attends visitors with courtesy, ascertain their business and relays information to the
officer
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned by Superior.
2.3 REMUNERATION
According to SIDO Salary Scale SDOSS l /3.
3.0 ARTISAN GRADE 11 ·2 POSTS
Reporting to the General Foreman
1. 1 REQUIRED QUALIFICATION
2.2 Holder of Certificate of Secondary Education {CSE) with Trade Test Grade II in any of
the following oreos; welding, fobricolion, fitting ond turner.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBIUTIES
To operate machinery and equipment in Workshop
To operate moulds and manufacture products
To carry out the maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment
To carry out electrical installation, maintenance and repair works
To carry out civil works and manufacture wood products
To undertake drafting of engineering drawing
Perform any other duties as may be assigned by Supervisor
3.3 REMUNERATION
According to SIDO Salary Scale SDOSS 1 /I .
N.B GENERAL CONDITIONS AND MODE OF APPLICATION:

(vi) Certificates from foreign examination bodies for ordinary or advanced level education
should be certified by The Notional Examination Council of Tanzania (NECTA}.
(vii) Certificates from foreign Universities should be verified by The Tanzania Commission for
Universities (TCU).
