Police have opened an investigation after a groom was shot in the head at his own wedding - due to a shotgun celebration misfiring.
The wedding took place in Hissar, northern India, close to the capital New Delhi.
The groom, whose marriage was called-off, suffered serious injuries but is expected to survive the incident.
Station House Officer (SHO) Mandeep Singh told Indian news website ANI:
