Ryan Giggs has had his luxury mansion daubed with graffiti calling him a 'cheating t***'.
Police were called to footballer's palatial family home after late-night vandals sprayed the word “cheat” five times on his fence.
The spray-gun blitz – which also affected other houses on a swanky road Worsley, Greater Manchester, took place overnight.
The two-foot high words sprayed in white paint on the Giggs’ front fence included 'Cheat', 'Welsh c***', 'T***' and 'MCFC'.
Another piece of graffiti read 'was she worth it'.
On the property next door was sprayed 'Giggs is a Cheat' and 'Giggs c***'.
Further along the road other £750,000-plus properties had similar obscenities scrawled on their walls.
A Greater Manchester Police officer was in attendance at the home as the clean-up began today.
Bystanders stopped to take photos on their phones and one resident whose house was daubed said: "This is absolutely disgusting.
"This behaviour is totally unacceptable."
It comes amid speculation the former Man United star's marriage is falling apart after he reportedly struck up a flirty relationship with PR girl Kate Greville.
Giggs is alleged to have 'showered her with gifts'.
The 42-year-old multi-millionaire allegedly grew close to Kate as she helped promote his £24m Hotel Football venture last year.
Friends said Kate, who had ended her 18-month marriage to United-mad husband Damian Burke, confided that Giggs sent a series of gifts to her PR agency office.
A friend is alleged to have said: "Ryan was excited about launching Hotel Football and wanted someone to handle the PR.
"The hotel was a big deal to him so he spent a lot of time working with Kate to get things right.
"He was very impressed with her and their friendship was very flirty. She started receiving gifts at the office, including designer handbags.”
They were said to be close for six months attending functions and meetings together.
But she left the country to set up a new PR agency in Abu Dhabi last year after telling friends she wanted a fresh start.
It is thought her friendship with Giggs has since cooled.
Giggs could lose half of his £40million fortune in a divorce settlement with wife Stacey.
The mum-of-two has reportedly called time on their eight-year marriage amid claims the Manchester United legend, 42, has been flirting with other women.
It was described as "the last straw" for Stacey, 37, in the wake of his affairs with model Imogen Thomas and sister-in-law Natasha – his brother Rhodri's wife.
