After UDA-RT Company to submit an application to be used for bus fare fast lane for the transport regulatory authorities of terrestrial and aquatic (SUMATRA), today (May 09 2016) SUMATRA has announced the fare.
SUMATRA has said that through margins (Freeder Route) fare for an adult is Tshs. 400 and the student Tshs. 200 and highways (Trunk Route) is Tshs 650 and student Tshs.v200 passengers who used to travel the highways (Freeder Route) and continue the journey through the periphery its fare would be Tshs. 800 and Tshs. 200 for student.
The service will be offered starting tomorrow free to the public for two consecutive days and By the 12 May 2016 shall become liable fares mentioned.
Manager of the project from DART, Engineer Ronald Lwakatare said this while speaking to journalists this afternoon;
'At the time we did the pilot we will be looking system works so we will carry passengers for several days without paying the fare.'
