Rehema Chalamila popularly known as Ray C broke the internet weeks ago after the authorities from Tanzania rescued her from a suicide attempt.
Ray C who started using hard drugs is reported to be at a very critical stage and her family is getting worried.
Speaking to a source, Ray C’s mother described her daughters condition as lethal saying that she is afraid Ray C might not recover from her addiction. Ray C was in rehab for some months before she came out and returned to taking the drugs.
Former Tanzanian President Jakaya Kikwete visited the once most influential female singer while at the rehab to show his support to the young lady.
However for now, Ray C’s situation is said to be completely out of hand and her family is devastated. Her mother now begs the government to intervene an assist her daughter who was her hope and the family’s bread-winner.
