Akothee reveals how much artistes must pay her for a collabo



Celebrated Kenyan Afro-pop songstress Sarah Serah popularly known by her stage name Akothee on Monday revealed that artistes willing to do a collabo with her would have to part with a small fortune.
Speaking to Radio Citizen’s Mzazi Willy M Tuva, Akothee said artistes must raise Ksh1 million to do a collabo with her.
 “As artistes we don’t have to rush into signing deals with record labels, we can make our own money using social media,” she told Mzazi Willy Tuva.
“Don’t settle for less. As for me don’t call if you can’t afford to raise Ksh1 million for a collabo,” she added.
The Give it to me hitmaker has bagged two awards this year for best female artiste in the just concluded African Muzik Magazine Awards( AFRIMMA) and African Entertainment Awards USA (AEAUSA)
She also revealed that she was considering joining a popular American label if the deal will be attractive.
Akothee is known for hits such as Sweet love featuring Diamond Platnumz and Djele Djele
