In what probably won’t go down as one of Justin Bieber’s shining moments, the 23-year-old Canadian singer has reduced a female fan to tears by telling her, “you make me sick”.
Currently in Australia (on his Purpose tour), Bieber was in Melbourne when 20-year-old Sabah Helal approached him to ask for a photo.
Instead of obliging (or even just politely turning her down) Bieber said, “You’ve invading my privacy, I don’t want a photo. Look at you. You make me sick”.
A fan managed to catch some of the encounter on camera:
Sabah’s mum told The Herald Sun that Bieber’s behaviour was “disgusting” and had “devastated” her daughter:
“My daughter was bawling her eyes out. She was dying to meet him and then he humiliated her.”
She added that his performance (at the Etihad Stadium) left much to be desired as well:
“His hands were in his pockets for the first five songs and it seemed like he didn’t want to be there.
After years of supporting him, my daughter will never see him again in concert.”
