11 U.S. citizens are among the 400 people injured in a suicide bombing in Afghanistan.
Officials say the blast Wednesday in Kabul left 90 people dead.
It happened near the highly secure ‘green zone’ which is home to many western embassies, government institutions, and residences of high-ranking officials.
Authorities do not believe the U.S. embassy was the target of the blast.
All of the injured U.S. citizens are contract personnel.
One Afghan local guard is missing and Nine Afghan guards working for a U.S.-contracted security company were killed.
An investigation is underway.
