Intern Malia Obama, who is currently in New York City for her internship was spotted by paparazzi heading to Weinstein Company offices in New York showing off plenty legs.

Law enforcement sources tell us cops were considering booking Jair Nilton Cardoso for stalking and harassment, but ultimately decided his failed attempts to get close to the former first daughter didn't rise to the level of a crime.
As we reported ... the 30-year-old man was detained after showing up to Malia's Weinstein Company office with a sign that read, "Will you marry me?". We're told cops say Cardoso never posed a verbal or physical threat because he never got any closer than standing outside the office.
We're told Cardoso was taken to a NYC hospital for psychiatric evaluation.

Secret Service agents detained a Brooklyn man who slithered into a Tribeca building where former President Obama’s daughter Malia interns,and begged the 18-year-old to marry him.

Jair Nilton Cardoso showed up on the fourth floor of the building on April 10, held up a sign in an office window and loudly begged for her hand in marriage, sources said.

The agents recognized Cardoso as a man who had repeatedly tried to get into the White House in the past, sources said. They told him to leave the Tribeca building and to leave her alone, sources told NY Daily News.

Clearly he didn’t get the message.

Two days later Cardoso, 30, followed Malia out of a building in the West Village where she also interns, sources said.

Secret Service agents on April 13 went to Cardoso's Brooklyn apartment and interviewed him, sources said. They concluded he had psychiatric issues and took him to a Brooklyn hospital for evaluation.

Five days after they interviewed the alleged stalker, Secret Service agents went to the First Precinct stationhouse on Ericsson Place in lower Manhattan and reported Cardoso, sources said.

Cops are mulling whether to file stalking or harassment charges against him.

TMZ has learned his name is Rob Franklin ... he and Malia met at a Men's Fashion Week event in NYC. He graduated from Stanford a couple years ago, and now has a media gig in the Big Apple.

We're told Rob's circle of friends are well aware he's been hanging out with Malia, but everyone's heard the same thing ... it's strictly platonic.

Malia Obama turns down several modelling gigs and she has her reasons

Former first daughter, Malia Obama, is tall, slim, beautiful and has all it takes to walk fashion runways so it's no wonder that modelling agencies are courting her, however, it's been revealed that the teenager has refused every modelling gig that has come her way.

“Malia has the body that would be great for the runways, she’s been offered several opportunities but she’s turned them all down,” an insider said.

Straight Shuter’s Rob Shuter has revealed that Malia turned down the modelling opportunities because of her love for TV. He said that she would rather be behind the camera, working on movie sets than on the runway.

Malia's love for TV is one that has always been made public. Malia is currently in New York interning for the American film producer, Harvey Weinstein. This will not be the first time she will intern with a TV production company. In the summer of 2015, she interned on the set of HBO's 'Girls' filming in Brooklyn while she was still in high school, an opportunity many girls her age can only dream of. She got the gig after she met Lena Dunham, the writer, director and star of Girls at the White House and mentioned to her that she was a fan. Prior to that, in the Summer of 2014, Malia also worked as a production assistant for Halle Berry’s CBS show Extant. She was only 14 at the time.

Malia has a passion for fashion and she is reportedly obsessed with shows America’s Next Top Model and Project Runway.  In spite of that, she has no interest in making modelling a career. Another reason Malia refused the deals is that she would rather lay low and live a subtle life after eight years of being under the intense microscope of the world. She intends to focus on the film industry and she has dreams of going into production full time after college.

Based on all these, there is very little possibility that Malia will be gracing the runways with the kinds of Kendall Jenner anytime soon.

President Obama’s daughters Malia and Sasha now dating

US President Barack Obama has revealed that while his daughters, Malia, 18, and Sasha, 15, have already started dating, he’s feeling “pretty relaxed” about it – for two good reasons.

Speaking to Raleigh radio station WDGG last week, Obama said that the main reason he’s not worrying about his girls is because of their mum – Michelle.

“She’s such a great example of how she carries herself, her self-esteem not depending on boys to validate how you look or you know, not letting yourself be judged by anything other than your character and intelligence,” Obama said of Michelle to whom he’s been married for 24 years.

The president also noted that he hoped he’d been a good example to his girls, too, “in terms of how I’ve shown respect to my wife.”

The president told the radio station that there’s one other reason he’s not worried about his daughters starting to date. “They have secret service,” he laughed. “There’s only so much these guys can do! These poor young men come by the house.”

When asked if the “poor young men” have any idea what they’re getting themselves into, Obama said, “Oh, they have an idea, I describe for them.”

The president also shared that over the last eight years, dinner-time with his wife and daughters was his “saving grace”. For an hour each night, at 6.30, Obama told WDGG that he’d leave the oval office to have dinner with his girls.

“We’d laugh and share stories,” he said. “And that was a place where you could shed and leave all the other stuff behind...they’d talk about their friends and about what happened in soccer practice. And that, I think, keeps you grounded.

These days though, the president said that his girls are more likely to “ditch” him for their friends.

“They still love you but they don’t have time for you,” he said.

 “Then you play a little more golf and Michelle and I go out to dinner. And then we spend time talking about the kids. Did they call you? Do you know what they’re doing? We trade notes,” he laughed.

While Malia and Sasha might not have as much time for their dad as they used to, Obama was full of praise for his daughters – who have grown up before our eyes.

“I really don’t worry about them, because they’re really solid, smart girls... young ladies now,” he said.

US President Obama's oldest child, 18 year old Malia Obama was seen in new photos playing what seems like beer pong with a group of young people at a party in Maryland last month in a photo obtained exclusively by Dailymail.com. This photo of her surrounded by alcohol was later uploaded to the social app Snapchat. 
There are also cans of Natural Light, Bud Light and Miller Lite on the table, which is decorated with red, white and blue confetti.

However, Malia was not seen with alcohol or drinking in the photo.

Everyone else in the photo had their faces blurred except Malia's, she really needs to change friends because these ones she has are snitches.
