Obama may have accidentally revealed the gender of Beyonce’s twins

Former president Obama,may have let the gender of Jay Z and Beyonce's twins slip. In a clip congratulating Jay Z for being inducted into the songwriters hall of fame,  Obama listed the similarities between himself and Jay Z saying they are both married to women who are relatively more popular than they are , before saying: 

'Jay and I are also fools for our daughters. Although, he's going to have me beat once those twins show up.'

Since Obama has two daughters, Malia and Sasha, and Jay already has one,the comment seems to imply that the only way the rapper could get him 'beat' is if he had twin girls.

Obama's video sparked a Twitter frenzy .

Former US president Barack Obama hailed Jay Z as the hip-hop mogul became the first rapper to enter the Songwriters Hall of Fame on Thursday.

Obama made a surprise appearance by video to present the honor to Jay Z, who was not in attendance,fueling speculations,Beyonce has put to birth.

Obama said

“I like to think Mr Carter and I understand each other. Nobody who met us as younger men would have expected us to be where we are today,” 

 Obama said he related to Jay Z in that neither grew up with a father, both understood deprivation

“and, let’s face it, we both have wives who are significantly more popular than we are.”“I’m pretty sure I’m still the only president to listen to Jay Z’s music in the Oval Office.”“That may change at some point, but I’m pretty sure that’s true now,” Obama said.

Trump cancels Obama policy for illegal immigrant families

The Trump administration announced on Thursday that it is cancelling an Obama-era policy to allow millions of illegal-immigrant parents of children born in the United States to stay in the country.

The 2014 policy, known as DAPA, for Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents, aimed to help the families of so-called "dreamer" children stay together free from the threat of deportation.

It was never implemented after 26 states successfully sued in a Texas federal district court to block it. The US Supreme Court let the lower court ruling stand last year after a four-four tie vote.
Set out in a memo from the administration of then-president Barack Obama, the policy said the government would defer any action against illegal immigrant parents of children who are lawful permanent residents -- mainly those born in the country to parents without legal status.

DAPA would have affected as many as four million people by some estimates, those with US-born children who were in the country before 2010.

But the Department of Homeland Security announced it was rescinding the policy with the support of the Justice Department.
It comes amid a tough crackdown on illegal immigration ordered by President Donald Trump. Kelly did not say whether the government has plans to replace DAPA with another measure that would allow families living in the country for decades to remain together without the threat of deportation.

Obama reacts to Donald Trump’s decision to pull out of the Paris Climate Agreement

Former US president, Barack Obama has issued a statement expressing his disappointment in Donald Trump for pulling out of the Paris Climate Agreement.

Obama accused Trump of “rejecting the future” by pulling out of the Paris climate deal saying, 'this Administration joins a small handful of nations that reject the future.”

At the moment, 194 countries including Nigeria still remain in the agreement while US joins Syria and Nicaragua as one of the three countries not in the Paris climate agreement.

A year and a half ago, the world came together in Paris around the first-ever global agreement to set the world on a low-carbon course and protect the world we leave to our children.  

It was steady, principled American leadership on the world stage that made that achievement possible.  It was bold American ambition that encouraged dozens of other nations to set their sights higher as well.  And what made that leadership and ambition possible was America’s private innovation and public investment in growing industries like wind and solar – industries that created some of the fastest new streams of good-paying jobs in recent years, and contributed to the longest streak of job creation in our history.

Simply put, the private sector already chose a low-carbon future.  And for the nations that committed themselves to that future, the Paris Agreement opened the floodgates for businesses, scientists, and engineers to unleash high-tech, low-carbon investment and innovation on an unprecedented scale.  The nations that remain in the Paris Agreement will be the nations that reap the benefits in jobs and industries created.  

I believe the United States of America should be at the front of the pack.  But even in the absence of American leadership; even as this Administration joins a small handful of nations that reject the future; I’m confident that our states, cities, and businesses will step up and do even more to lead the way, and help protect for future generations the one planet we’ve got.

Barack Obama Thanks Michelle for Sticking Around, Post-Presidency

Over the weekend, Former President of the United States, Barack Obama received the 2017 Profile in Courage Award during a ceremony at the John F. Kennedy Library in Boston, Massachusetts. His wife, Michelle, attended the ceremony with him and he was full of praises for her.

"I also want to thank Michelle Obama for, after the presidency, sticking with me. Because I think she felt an obligation to the country to stay on, but once her official duties were over, it wasn't clear. I love my wife and I'm grateful for her. I do believe that it was America's greatest fortune to have her as First Lady," Obama said. Watch the video below;
