The first new aircraft bought by the Government for use by Air Tanzania Corporation (ATCL) has landed at the International Airport of Julius Nyerere in Dar es salaam that made in Canada.
The aircraft of the type Q400 NextGen Bombadier landed this afternoon at 6:15 and then be given a special honor that is given to any new aircraft landing in the country (Water Salute).
After receiving this honor, aircraft parked in the area of military aircraft (Airwing Ukonga). Speaking after the arrival of the plane Transport Permanent Secretary Dr. Leonard Chamriho said second plane is expected to arrive within a week and that after the arrival of the second plane where the official reception will be held by the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dr. John Pombe Magufuli to date that will be announced later.
