American rapper turned ‘male socialite’ Kanye West has been decorating the international media space with innumerable issues surrounding his life. From his epic fail of a fashion line to his unfortunate admission into a psychiatric institution, the rapper has been on everyone’s ears. Kanye recently met with American president-elect Donald Trump in New York, a meeting that was harshly criticized by scores of Black Americans who labeled him a traitor.
Kanye, who is rumored to be heading for divorce with celebrity wife Kim Kardashian, was forced to explain why he met with Trump. Taking to twitter for the first time after he was discharged, Kanye revealed that his meeting with Trump was to discuss pertinent multicultural issues including bullying, supporting teachers and modernizing curriculums among other things.
‘’I wanted to meet with Trump today to discuss multicultural issues. These issues included bullying, supporting teachers, modernizing curriculums, and violence in Chicago. I feel it is important to have a direct line of communication with our future President if we truly want change.’’
